I’ve drafted a formal petition to A+ in the Reasonable Doubts forum (the episode in honor of Paul Kurtz) to change “feminism”/ “women’s rights” in the charter to the label “gender equality.” So far RD has been neutral on the issue. I want their (and your) critical opinion before I FWD it to those who could use it or make it signable (where?).The petition came out better than I’d hoped; it’s not polemical. Please check it out, even if, like me, you’d prefer no ideology in atheism. Help us heal.

I’m just wondering, why do you post that idiots videos against you? I can’t watch these foolish videos to catch the meaning of what you want me/us to get.

Hi thunderfoot…I was wondering if you could help me fix up my site. It’s looking pretty ugly. Also, if you’re a moderate looking for balance in the Atheism+ movement, we’re looking for the same thing . I joined the Atheism+ forums recently, and I want to either encourage balanced Atheism + people to speak up so I can hear them, or just be a new wave of atheism altogether.

Aye, yeah, if he’s going to be against silencing no matter what one silences, he can’t do that. I’m not, though. PZ is attempting to push out anyone who’s more moderate than he is … he doesn’t want to hear them out, so he won’t change. It’s understandable to mute some bullshit, though. It depends – if you’re a bullshitter, you NEED to hear things out.

     I call hypocrisy. Specifically, I call hypocrisy on you, Thunderf00t. Oh, I agree completely that Myers’s actions are dishonest and beyond the pale. But you are a silencer complaining about being silenced.
     You have blocked me from posting on your YouTube channel. I found that out the first time I tried to leave a comment on one of your videos. Apparently I said something on someone else’s video that you didn’t like and you decided that I shouldn’t be allowed to be heard
     While you are correct in your assessment of the dishonest of Meyers and will find no disagreement with me there, you should really concentrate on the dishonesty of Thunderf00t.

In fact I find quite the opposite is true. The top rates comments on YT are v. rarely far from the mark. Indeed I find they are frequently devastating summaries, the sort of thing you might expect if you get the cream of 1000 brains writing comments.
