Dawahfilms is being terrorized by YOUR ignorance and paranoia!

Y’know dawahfilms is an outstanding piece of work, rejoicing smug at dropping my name and other docs. Still I suppose ~40 mn hits without leaving a real world traceable footprint ain’t that bad.

Now for some unexplained reason Dawahfilms thinks that he has suffered some horrendous wrong (called getting his ass handed to him) and that ‘muslim justice’ is demanded. Now youtube ignored his victimhood antics, and despite me telling him EXACTLY HOW he would proceed with a defamation type action, he, for some unexplained reason doesn’t seem to be able to get subpoenas issued.

So yeah, after the public forum finds there’s nothing wrong here, and the legal forum thinks there is nothing illegal here. Dawahfilms still wants to get at me for the injustice only HE, The Lion of God (yes that’s his chosen Muslim name) is virtuous enough to see. Yes he is still vowing to hunt me down and try to get me fired!

The LION of Allah! Hobbies include: Justifying pedophilia for prophet, speculating who his religion give him a mandate to kill, threatening to sue people, contacting EVERYONE at your place of employment and claiming he is the victim of TRUE terrorism because you are all to ignorant and paranoid to understand his Lion of God arguments!

I just want you to know that when I get the chance, I’ll be contacting your next place of employment if its a university, so as to protect them from your bigotry. Or, by that time, I’ll have you in court for defamation. Depends on which one is more suitable. .-Dawahfilms

Now the sad thing is of course, that’s exactly how everyone sees this. Crazy, creepy muslim guy spitefully harassing people for calling him on the dumbass things he said. But Dawahfilms has a response for all you people think that writing to someones employer, and all your coworkers is NOT the righteous and just cause of a piously religious man.

Dawahfilms, aka The LION of Allah, being subjected to true terrorism by YOUR ignorance and paranoia!

YOU ARE ALL IGNORANT MASSES!, and HE is the victim (what a surprise), being terrorized by your true terrorism in that he has to be careful what he says because of your IGNORANT PARANOIA. Who could see writing to all the staff at your place of work sending them your name and work as anything other than the honorable path of a virtuous muslim man seeking retribution by ANY open path, only the ignorant and paranoid masses, that’s who!

To make things even more amusing, even dawahfilms sees having people know your true identity when it might affect your income as being wrong. Apparently someone was dropping Amenakins real name in one of my videos, and so he wrote to me saying how terrible it is that someones dropping her name.

Someone is actually dropping her real name in your comments section. Please delete these. I saw them dropped in your recent video. -Dawahfilms

Reply

yes i will delete it. Just supply a searchable term of how to find it, and the name of the video.

-not that you ever extended the courtesy to me.

Come now dawah, tell me you had no idea that people were dropping my docs in your comments section. No prized for guessing where they came from.

Ironic isn’t it dawah, that you are asking the ‘immoral man’ to take the path of virtue that not only you were too vitriolic and spiteful to walk yourself. But its far worse than that, you, the self proclaimed ‘virtuous man’ were actively seeking the vindictive actions that you now find so abhorrent when performed by the hands of others.

For some reason, holding people ‘accountable in real life’ for their bigoted opinions by targeting their income is only justifiable when applied against the critics of islam!

    Oh sweet irony…

  2. King Kool Says:

I had a fairly civil discussion with DawahFilms the other day, where he resisted the evidence in the video I posted here before. It didn’t appear that he blocked me, so that’s a plus.

At the end of the day, this has almost nothing to do with religion and has everything to do with civility and courtesy. You should NEVER seek out someone’s real name and expose it online, pretty much no matter what they’ve done. The people seeking Dawah’s real name are just going to give his cries of victimization legitimacy.

    As always, well said, Tf00t.

    • LaughingBlades Says:

Oh he blocked me, right after I owned him on a logical fallacy and told him that I was an apostate 🙂

      • Midlycurious Says:

        Where can this be seen?

      • InFlamesAddictive Says:

Blocked me as well… I was arguing with a muslim on one of his videos that there is no such thing as islamophobia…

      • Cassie Says:

To be fair, there really are people who irrationally hate Islam without knowing anything accurate about it.

People opposing the “World Trade Center” Mosque on the grounds that it would be a victory memorial come to mind as true islamophobia…

    • Yosi G. Says:

He blocked me after i told him I was a RELIGIOUS JEW and asked him if his ISLAMIC EXTREMIST website he posted on his profile page…how would he feel if I did that to Muslims? If I presented them the way he presents Jews?
It seems double standards, hypocrisy and self-righteousness go hand in hand.

Dawahfilms ia a dangerous violent individual, who hates everything none-Islam.

  3. Scented Nectar Says:

I think it has everything to do with religion, and that DF’s politeness is merely him using tone instead of arguments. Let’s not forget that his main purpose on YT is to evangelize and convert us to a system that is the most barbaric of all the remaining theocracies.

The flakier sides of the ‘left’ seem to think we can befriend him and tame his message of hateful immoral sharia-thumping, if only we join hands and sing fucking Kumbaya or something.

I hope that those who cry ‘islamophobe’ at the drop of dislike, realize that most of themselves would be among the first killed under the koran’s inhumane laws.

This is not an issue of racism, but of horrific cultural practices. There is nothing wrong with being against that.

This is not someone to coddle with “ahh, let’s all be friends”. If his religion had it’s way, I’d be dead dozens of times over for my many nonharmful ‘crimes’.

    • Mike Says:

“I think it has everything to do with religion”

      Bingo.

“Let’s not forget that his main purpose on YT is to evangelize and convert us to a system that is the most barbaric of all the remaining theocracies.”

Quoted for truth. DawahFilms would love to see us all back in the Dark Ages, where he would be happy to act as the Grand Persecutor of infidels and other non-believers.

TF has never threatened anyone with death that I’m aware of, but Kevin/Dawah has no problem doing so in the name of his hateful, nutbag religion. And he sees *nothing* wrong with doing so.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

I wish people would realize that. They instead seem to think it’s merely a difference of personalities and whether people like this one or that one better. But it’s more than tone, it’s really the message that counts.

    • Prelude610 Says:

Agreed, and this is one of the reasons I think TF’s aggressive tone in his rebuttals and criticisms is appropriate. It doesn’t do much in the way of giving the poor guy an out so he can save enough face to mend his ways without further disgrace, but then again, Ali does not seem to be that kind of guy, and the same goes for Islam in general.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

When I compare the tone of each of them, I can’t even understand why DF is considered the politer one, other than he himself claims to be. His voice always seems to contain anger and threats to it. His eyes are also very angry.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        Scented Nectar wrote:

“His voice always seems to contain anger and threats to it. His eyes are also very angry.”

There are people who are carefree and happy, with joy and wonder in their eyes, but who would kill you as soon as look at you.

  5. John Vezina Says:

Just so you know, Thunderfoot, the only way I can even read some of your emailed comments is by cutting and pasting into notepad because the font colors you choose to emphasize with is unreadable on a white background. Of course, the other way is to merely go to this blog to see the orignal post. Other than that, I guess I just have to say that I appreciate your work. If I were to give you any advice it might be to stick with the facts and try to avoid fanning the flame war, although I can say I cannot really blame you.

We need warriors like you to guard against the obviuos threat posed by ignorant superstitions such as religion.

  6. Naomi (@NaomiJChambers) Says:

So, Dawahfilms is the Muzzie version of inmendham threatening to sue anyone who hurts his precious, vulnerable feelings. What on earth makes this boy think that his feelings are so important?

I said it once, and I will say it again, the worst thing you can do is engage with these ding-dongs on the internet. It is a waste of your time. Best to move on, ignore it, and focus on making positive contributions. Can you imagine Dawkins, Hitchens or any other intellectual lowering themselves to actually engaging with these weirdos? They would not do it. As hard as it is to ignore, ignoring it is the right thing to do. If he manages to contact your employer and harass you, then take action. Right now, he is just a little puppy dog with a big bark and no bite.

  7. James Line Says:

funny thing about Islam is they kill each other because they belong to different sects. they kill their own self for idiots who run and hide telling them Allah will bless them for killing themselves. I say down with Islam and sharia law. they are a danger to us all. true sociopaths.

  8. BurtTheBashful Says:

LOL DAWAHFILMS DOCS HAVE BEEN DROPPED, SO HAVE AMENAKINS

DAWAHFILMS STICKS HIS TINY DICK IN THUNDERF00T AND GETS JIGGY WITH IT

    • Anonymous Says:

for one I am not ignorant! I do not care about daws films or whatever but the stupidity of the Muslims is truly amazing why don’t you all kill your selves and Allah will bless you all for not hurting innocent people who do not happen to agree with you form of region. kill your selves for Allah remember that. but also remember your leaders are running and hiding so they do not die. I think the should be maters and kill them selves to be an example to you all. then you might see what I do stupid Muslims. i am not paranoid neither

    • Anonymous Says:

i dont realy care what religion you are but when you comment turn off caps lock.they meke you seem like either a 12 year old or a troll

I think burt has a tiny weiner….. lol. Thats y he needs to sit behind a computer a talk about dicks to try and compensate for his lack of endowment. 😛

  9. DawahFilms Says:

You know Tf00t, I love how you keep quotemining my PMs to you.

Shall I show them the PMs where I tell you that I was deleting comments that were dropping your name and then show screen caps where I respond to users helping me find the comments in my videos?

Shall I show them the PMs I sent you helping you to get rid of the information about you online?

And then, shall I place in a video these blog posts while showing how much of a disingenuous ass you’re being again?

Because it won’t be that difficult. So either stop being such a little child and PM me again (this time acting like a man), stop having to make me talk to your friends FIRST before I speak to you (because you know, that’s apparently how men speak to each other), and stfu.

    • Durandal Says:

Yes, please show proof of thunderf00t lying. Geesh, people have been asking about that forever. If it’s not already obvious, comments are never deleted here so why not post the evidence?

      • DawahFilms Says:

Why are you accepting he says at face value and then placing the burden of proof on me?

Nothing he says in his videos against me is ever supported by evidence. Ive already proven him wrong several times now.

      • Durandal Says:

“Why are you accepting he says at face value and then placing the burden of proof on me?”

You do understand how the burden of proof works right? It’s up to you to prove your claims correctly. You can’t disprove a negative. So come on, give the evidence. You said: “Shall I show them” Yes you shall. The Lord God commands it :p If you’re going to threaten to show damning evidence, better be prepared to pony up.

“Nothing he says in his videos against me is ever supported by evidence.”

What are you referring to exactly?

“Ive already proven him wrong several times now.”

How so and on what points?

    • Scented Nectar Says:

Dawahfilms, I have a challenge for you. People excuse you by saying you are a moderate, and not like those extremist violence condoners. So….

Are you willing to speak out against all, or even any, of the following koran ordained punishments?
      – the killing of people for the nonharmful, consensual, sexual ‘crimes’ of homosexuality and/or unmarried sex?
      – the forced marriages where the female’s father decides who she must ‘marry’ (=sexual slavery if she doesn’t want to but is made to)?
      – the ‘marriages’ (=rapes) of children where vaginal intercourse can happen as young as nine?
      – the condoning of anal/oral rapes of children even younger, eg newborns?
      – the lack of equal rights that all females have according to the koran?

      and here’s the biggie….
      – the killing of people for blasphemy, such as that which happened to Van Geogh, and which has pushed a lot of people into hiding, eg Hirsii Ali, Rushdie?

That last one is very important. We all know that TF has committed that non-crime bigtime with his Draw Mo Day. So big was it, that Pakistan blocked youtube altogether.

Recently, you not only contacted TF’s workplace, but you also sent his docs to a muslim organization. How are you going to fix it if that becomes a death fatwa now that they have his name and locale?

In advance of your answers, let me tell you that I won’t accept weasel non-answers, gish gallups, or changes of topics.

I’m serious enough about this that I will probably make a blog post on it later today.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

        I forgot one,
        – the wife beatings that the koran tells husbands to do when she continues to disobey him?

      • Scented Nectar Says:

        And another I forgot,
        – the killing of those who have been taught about islam if they still do not believe/practice it after learning about it?

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Well, Dawah, are you going to answer my challenge? It’s looking like you are avoiding it so that you won’t have to admit the truth, which is that you CONDONE and SUPPORT these atrocities. Perhaps you have even COMMITTED them.

Waiting…….. Your silence is giving the impression that you’re not against any of them at all. Not the murders, rapes, pedo-rapes, slavery, etc. That’s the only reason you could have for not answering.

        • KevinSolway Says:

“Your silence is giving the impression that you’re not against any of them at all. Not the murders, rapes, pedo-rapes, slavery, etc. That’s the only reason you could have for not answering.”

I am continually in awe of the logic possessed by TF and so many of his subscribers. How could anyone find fault with it? It’s hard to comprehend just how much TF has raised the bar of logic and reason during his time on Youtube, and how much his rationality has rubbed-off onto so many people.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Kevin, that’s still not an answer to the things I asked. Are you having some difficulty understanding, or are you just mad that such atrocities are being questioned?

      • KevinSolway Says:

“that’s still not an answer to the things I asked. ”

I’ve seen videos by DF where he states his opposition to the kind of things you mention. It doesn’t logically follow that just because he doesn’t answer your question that he agrees with rape, etc. So far as I’m concerned, logical truth is the most important thing of all. Once you throw that out the window, there’s nothing left.

    • Mike Says:

Yes, please bless us with you boundless wisdom *cough* and your “proof”.

Let’s see it. You offered, so put your money where your mouth is.

DawahFilms, the truth is that you’re just another religious nutjob. You would be only too happy to kill anyone who offends your insane religion or your pedophile prophet.

    • TinySaint Says:

“Why are you accepting he says at face value and then placing the burden of proof on me?

Nothing he says in his videos against me is ever supported by evidence. Ive already proven him wrong several times now.”

You claim you have all this evidence against TF and when one person asks you to show it this is your response?

You would have retained more credibility if you had just admitted you lied again about having the evidence rather than all this double speak to try and get around it.

You are saying TF is a liar and you can prove it. Then when someone asks for the proof you claim he has the affirmative burden to prove he is not a liar and you do not have any obligation to present the proof you just claimed you had? You are worse than a personal injury lawyer.

As to burden of proof it works like this. If someone makes the amazing claim there is a god, then yes they have the burden to back that claim up before they should expect anyone to take them seriously. On the other hand If I spend four paragraphs telling you that I have killer evidence which proves no god exists, then the burden clearly falls on me to present the evidence I just promised. If they ask and I refuse, then they are well within their bounds of calling me a liar.

  10. DawahFilms Says:

You know what else I find funny? The public forum (YouTube), apparently didn’t think I made a “death threat” or that I “doc dropped” or anything.

So, by your f00t-in-mouth logic all that you’re saying is BS (not that it wasn’t already).

So keep it up. Its nice to see you continuously shoot yourself in the f00t.

    • Durandal Says:

But YouTube didn’t believe you either that thunderf00t was threatening muslims or ruining your life, and the legal forum laughed at you too. So by your logic..everything you say is also bullshit :p

      • DawahFilms Says:

        *facepalm*

That’s the point dude. He’s being inconsistent. He wants to suggest that certain mediums are somehow supporting his actions while simultaneously condemning mine when nothing is happening to me.

So, by HIS logic then he should accept that I’ve done nothing wrong to him.

      • Durandal Says:

        * double facepalm*

“That’s the point dude. He’s being inconsistent. He wants to suggest that certain mediums are somehow supporting his actions while simultaneously condemning mine when nothing is happening to me.”

No, he’s saying YouTube and the legal forum are not supporting your claims or your threats to action, which is obvious since no action has been taken against him. You’re the one trying to go to e-court to file an lolsuit against him. Some of your actions are worthy of Encyclopedia Dramatica.

“So, by HIS logic then he should accept that I’ve done nothing wrong to him.”

No, you tried to invade his privacy, something he never tried to you. Now you and other muslims are under the radar because of your attempts to invade others personal lives.

    • Anonymous Says:

what an utter lie.if i recall there were hundreds,if not thousands of replies on your videos from people who you angered with your doc dropping, not only that but i also recall people who were angered putting comments on your home page (myself included). i recall that i already mode my point about your death threats. ~werewolf

    • Mike Says:

Creepy Kevin says, “The public forum (YouTube), apparently didn’t think I made a “death threat” or that I “doc dropped” or anything.”

The hell they don’t. Your babbling about how “true muslims” will send TF to meet the god he “wished he knew” is a pretty clear death threat, and don’t try to deny it, you lying little whack job.

Screw you and your doubletalk and your death threats and your two-faced lying. You’re a sad, sick little man. You’re so crazy they even started a thread about you on ART:

DawahFilms: Metally Ill Psychopath or Religious Maniac?
      http://www.atheistroundtable.com/forum/index.php?topic=594.0

    • mrEflavr Says:

One can’t help but notice that you haven’t denounced all the horrible things Islam either does or tells it’s followers to do. That would mean you are no better than the other bomb-vested, child-raping, dogma-chasing, Non-Islamophobic Muslims who would rape, pillage and murder innocent people in the name of their prophet and his deity. When a religion teaches hate and intolerance, it receives hate and intolerance in like fashion.

    • Prelude610 Says:

Kevin/Ali, please forget TF for a moment and answer Scented Nectar’s questions.

  11. DawahFilms Says:

Hey Tf00t, when are you going to tell them that I DEFENDED YOUR FRIEND ZOMGITSCRISS FROM DEATH THREATS in my video “A Final Warning: To Some Muslims”?

    Hmm?

Oh, is it because I’m “lying” right? This is just a “cover” so that I can mask my “evilness”, right? What’s ironic, is that I received LESS death threats from other Muslims than I have from your supporters when I spoke out against you.

    • Durandal Says:

“Hey Tf00t, when are you going to tell them that I DEFENDED YOUR FRIEND ZOMGITSCRISS FROM DEATH THREATS in my video “A Final Warning: To Some Muslims”?”

When has anyone said you didn’t do that? Who ever brought that up?

    • Mike Paps Says:

What does the “A Final Warning: To Some Muslims” video have to do with the death threat, and doc dropping. Are you suggesting that Thunderf00t should go out of his way to point out what you may have done that isn’t evil while you call him a bigot who supports genocide, claim that the death threat wasn’t a death threat, and deny dropping his docs?

The death threat was clearly a death threat, and I don’t know how you define doc dropping, but sending his real name and videos to everyone he works with qualifies in my book, and that’s only what you admit to, or should I say proudly proclaim.

    • Durandal Says:

He just defended her because she’s a hot chick :p

    • Yosi G. Says:

You saved him from your dogs you sent Mr. Islamic Scholar of Muhammad’s Ass shape and type.

    • Mike Says:

“when are you going to tell them that I DEFENDED YOUR FRIEND ZOMGITSCRISS”

No one claimed you didn’t do this. Stop sniveling. Go back into your mom’s basement and pray to your pedophile prophet, okay?

You’ve blown it- you have ZERO credibility with anyone here and with any thinking person on Youtube. You chump.

  12. Mike Paps Says:

Perhaps Paper Tiger of God would be a better Muslim name for Kevin.

    • Mike Says:

“Perhaps Paper Tiger of God would be a better Muslim name for Kevin.”

I propose, “Hapless Bearded Schmuck for Allah The Pedophile”.
I think it has a nice ring to it. lol

Notice how Kevin/Dawah never responds to mentions that his holy poobah was a pedophile? Why is that?

  13. DawahFilms Says:

My LEGAL name is Asadullah Ali.

So Ive “dropped my docs” a long time ago. The fact you insist to call be my a name Im no longer known by legally or otherwise, is assinine.

Youre doing more to protect me than myself.

    • Durandal Says:

But to many, you’ll always be Kevin. What’s wrong with using that name? I don’t mind when people call me Ezra, when it’s just my middle name.

    • IslamicNeurosis Says:

Kevin is his semi-sane name. His totally insane name is Ali.
He seems to include himself in one of the most disgusting religions on earth. The biggest loser religion who gave humanity NOTHING but desert dirt, tribes of barbarity and war mongering. There is no Islamic golden age, it was an Arab golden age (“golden” as in stolen from the Greeks, and also with that they did very little).

Compare it with the nature of Buddhists (working for peace) or the brains of Jews (Nobel prizes, Chess players etc), even Christians gave much much more to humanity. I guess Islam invented modern day suicide bombing. Thank you Muslims.
Islam looks like a pathetic retard animal which DEMANDS honor, not EARNS it.

      To hell with you Dawahfilms.

      • fuck u Says:

I ain’t muslim but past muslim civilization contributed a lot to the world…… You know that soap use?…. I hope u use it. Yeah they invented that.

      • Durandal Says:

“I ain’t muslim but past muslim civilization contributed a lot to the world…… You know that soap use?…. I hope u use it. Yeah they invented that.”

Soap use dates back to Ancient Babylon so…no.

      • b Says:

I acutally wiould disagree with that statement. from my knowledge of history (which is not very much i admit) the arabs did do a lot with greek knowledge. i wouldn’t say that they did very little. And i would say that all religions, including buddhism stifle the progress of humanity imo. I would not single out Islam. Im of a hindu background by the way, and hinduism has also stifled a lot of progress. but the arab/muslim golden age ended when an islamic cleric decreed that math was the work of the devil or something like that and the scientific arab culture (if i can coin that term) has never recovered. i fear the same thing might happen today in america.

      • wrong Says:

        – soaps made from vegetable oils (such as olive oil), aromatic oils (such as thyme oil) and Lye (al-Soda al-Kawia) were first produced by Muslim chemists in the medieval Islamic world. The soap that babylonians created was not really for the purpose of cleaning oneself…. it was more for decorations and scrubbing killed animals. They also did make contributions to architectury and chemistry and algebra (I am talking about ancient).

        • Mike Paps Says:

“- soaps made from vegetable oils (such as olive oil), aromatic oils (such as thyme oil) and Lye (al-Soda al-Kawia) were first produced by Muslim chemists in the medieval Islamic world.”

You mean they were produced by chemists who happened to live in a part of the world where Islam was the dominant religion.

      • wrong Says:

I am not denying that science was there major influence…. but the dumass inidividual who created the first post mentioned alot of people who contributed that happen to be religious as well.

      • Durandal Says:

The earliest recorded evidence of the production of soap-like materials dates back to around 2800 BC in Ancient Babylon.[5] In the reign of Nabonidus (556–539 BCE) a recipe for soap consisted of uḥulu [ashes], cypress [oil] and sesame [seed oil] “for washing the stones for the servant girls”.[6] A formula for soap consisting of water, alkali, and cassia oil was written on a Babylonian clay tablet around 2200 BC.

The Ebers papyrus (Egypt, 1550 BC) indicates that ancient Egyptians bathed regularly and combined animal and vegetable oils with alkaline salts to create a soap-like substance. Egyptian documents mention that a soap-like substance was used in the preparation of wool for weaving.

So no, these ancient soaps were used for bathing. It was not invented by muslims. What’s next, Christians invented the telescope?

      • wrong Says:

They created a SOAP-LIKE substance…. it didn’t serve the same kind of purpose (as effectively). And in terms of egyptian bathing. Ancient egyptian bathing practices is nothing what we considering bathing today. GO FUCK URSELF NOW!!!

    • Morde Says:

Come on now Kevin, may I call you Kevin? Of course I can. I may call you anything I like. I have known several people like you. Not REAL Muslims, but converted Christians. You people are all the same. You come up with some ridiculously self gratifying name, and you preach verbatim what you learned that day. Never really having any meat on the subject, ya know… you don’t get the whole pig, just a slice of bacon here and there.

    • Mike Says:

      Kevin,

“My LEGAL name is Asadullah Ali.”

We don’t care what you’re calling yourself this week, Kevin. Who gives a crap? Call yourself Assmulla Bamboolla for all we care.

“The fact you insist to call be my a name Im no longer known by legally or otherwise, is assinine.”

Again, Kevin, we don’t care. Why should you?

“Youre doing more to protect me than myself.”

Then you should be thanking us, Kevin, instead of whining like a little baby about it. So stop whining, Kevin. Kevin. Kevin. Kevin.

  14. NineYearOldWife Says:

    Dawahfilms.

  21. KevinSolway Says:

TF needs to provide PROOF that DF dropped his docs. The burden of proof is on TF. It’s not doc-dropping to report a person to their employer for possible misconduct. And nor is it doc-dropping to use a person’s first name.

It’s immoral for TF to be accusing people of crimes without providing evidence.

    • Scented Nectar Says:

DF admitted in his vids that he contacted TF’s coworkers and a muslim organization with the info.

      • ... Says:

That’s not doc dropping scented nectar……… so he contacted his workplace. He never said he contacted a muslim organization. He said that would the MSA of the university think knowing an individual with “bigoted opinions” as thunderfoot worked in the same academic institution. Stop talkin outta ur ass.

      • ... Says:

cont.. he use the information to contact the uni staff and his co-workers

      • Scented Nectar Says:

I don’t care if you call it doc dropping or any other words, He admitted contacting some islamic organization. I’m not going to search through the vids for it, but enough other people have seen it that I don’t have to. I suspect that you have too.

Either way, he has ensured that TF’s docs have been spread to islamist orgs who could endanger TF.

I don’t care, by the way, who did what first, or about whose personality has been nicer during this fight. The future is what I’m concerned with. If this leads to a fatwa on TF, are you still going to think DF is blameless? Will you say that TF asked for it (‘it’ being death)?

      • KevinSolway Says:

“TF’s coworkers and a muslim organization”

I don’t know if DF contacted the University Muslim students organization, and nor do you. Nevertheless the more people who complain to the University authorities, the greater weight the complaint will have. Such numbers may be important – especially since DF is just one person, and one who has been branded a terrorist who makes death threats. His lone complaint might be ignored on the very grounds that he is a Muslim and a “terrorist”.

I believe that TF should have kept his work entirely separate from his online activities, rather than using his job as a means of gaining traction for his online political, non-scientific activities. And I think that stating that he has a contract with his employers to make [political propaganda] videos is highly questionable, especially when no proof is provided.

      • ... Says:

Scented nectar…. if this leads to fatwa on TF then no I would not blame DF. He said it was evident that TF docs have been dropped long ago and if an individual who really wanted to go after thunderfoot for saying things then they would have obtained the information regardless of dawah’s “disclosure”. I don’t think a man should be killed for simply saying what he thinks….. but I do believe he is bigoted. Whether you disagree with that is a debate that I don’t want to engage in simply because there will be no end to it (I got other things to do).

      • Bruce Gorton Says:

That’s not doc dropping scented nectar

Just a question here class – why do you not doc drop? Is it:

A: Because it is just not a nice thing to do.
B: Because it means some nutjob may try to hurt the person whose docs are being dropped in real life.
C: Because it makes kittens sad.

The answer is B – and the nutjob is Dawah. His attempt to take his fight with Thunderf00t offline may even constitute harassment.

It is funny how this defence gets trotted out when the fact of the matter is is the taboo against doc dropping is there to prevent things like what Dawah did.

Oh and further, multiple people have claimed to have gotten TF’s docs off of Dawah, and Dawah released TF’s information to some Islamist organisation. That is doc dropping.

      • ... Says:

Bruce….. Yes what you just said already been addressed in the conversation above and the reply has been given. Read you dumass. In terms of people claiming they got the information off dawah. Where is the proof??? …… How do you know they aren’t false claims.

      • Bruce Gorton Says:

        @KevinSolway
I believe that TF should have kept his work entirely separate from his online activities

Thunderf00t was largely anonymous – so how did he bring his work into his online life? How did he use his position to do jack shit seen as about all we knew about him was he was a scientist of some sort?

Before the doc drop and Dawah popularising it nobody much knew even what sodding field Thunderf00t worked in. Thunderf00t did not bring his two lives together, it took Dawahfilms to do so.

      • Bruce Gorton Says:

        @…

No actually it has not been answered. The nearest you have got is Kevinsolway ignoring the following:

Dawah boasted about email bombing what he believed to be Thunderf00t’s employers and students. The aim? To get Thunderf00t fired or professionally censured. In other words, to hurt Thunderf00t in real life, over an online argument.

Note I do not say “Kill” here – but “hurt.”

This is not an issue up for contention here – the source of the accusation is Dawah HIMSELF.

Kevinsolway also ignores the quite logical point that Thunderf00t in his online persona rested on precisely zero professional authority. We did not know what TF’s field was, what his position was, what papers he had published or any of that. The most we knew was he was some sort of a scientist – and that could mean a lot of things.

What Thunderf00t brought was not academic authority – it was factually strong science videos, coupled with a bit of political and religious ideology. His authority derived and still derives from the strong arguments he has presented under his pseudonym.

Solway’s point, in other words, collapses the second you consider the nature of anonymity.

You cannot accuse a figure who is maintaining his anonymity of using his professional authority. Professional authority is an element to true identity, not anonymity. Thunderf00t sought to avoid mixing his online work with his offline work – until Dawah brought Thunderf00t’s real private life into the fight.

What is further wrong with your arguments is that you seem to believe that Dawah is excused because by doc dropping TF to an Islamist organisation that may further damage TF’s career in future (This is without even getting into terrorism or assassinations, this is just TF’s livelyhood we are talking about here) because it would be more effective.

This is equivalent to saying shooting somebody with a rifle isn’t murder, because a rifle is more effective than a pistol. It does not address the fact that the harm Ali was aiming to cause is precisely what the taboo is there to prevent.

      • ... Says:

        “Thunderf00t was largely anonymous”

A person is not “largely anonymous” when they are a famous person on youtube who shows their face on camera, and goes to atheist meetings around the country under their real name, advertised using both their real name and “Thunderfoot”, and who shows films of themselves at faculty Christmas parties, and doing scientific experiments in the lab, and claiming they work in “education”.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        Bruce Gorton wrote:

“Thunderf00t sought to avoid mixing his online work with his offline work”

If that were true, there would have been no need to TF to have ever mentioned that he worked in “education” or in scientific research. He could have let his words stand on their own merits.

      • Bruce Gorton Says:

        @…

I am reading. I am reading and noticing that you claiming the point has been addressed is not the same as the point actually being addressed.

        @Kevinsolway

Sorry Kevin – but none of that cuts the mustard. TF posted under a pseudonym and didn’t reveal his identity – even in the case of the seminar it was a matter of it being an oversight by the organisers.

He did not mix his identities – and even if he had are you arguing that educators should not be allowed the same basic civil rights available to any other profession? Does being an educator instantly mean you have zero right to freedom of speech on your own time?

      • KevinSolway Says:

        Bruce Gorton wrote:

“He did not mix his identities”

TF linked his online activities with his job in so-called “education” and scientific research, which has the effect of increasing the effectiveness of the political propaganda he is peddling. Gullible people are much more affected by a message that is perceived to come from a University, and appears to be endorsed by a University.

By making the links to his job in this way, TF opened the door for someone to challenge whether he is abusing the privileges of that job.

I saw the video which dropped all of TF’s docs back in May, and there’s no reason to think that DF had anything to do with it.

    • Scented Nectar Says:

I’m not talking about who did what first. As for proof of spreading it to an islamist org, DF himself said so. Do you think he’s lying?

That is actually irrelevant. If they didn’t have Thunderf00t’s contact details already – what Dawah did classes as doc dropping.

      • ... Says:

First of all up until I was told that he disclosed information to an islamic organization no he did not doc drop then. In terms of him contacting the islamic organization I don’t know whether he did. Scented nectar claims its in a video but doesn’t want to say where. But fine let’s say she is correct. How is him bringing this issue with an islamic organization irrelevant?? He several times said that he would disclose his videos to people of interest. The youtube videos are public anyways.

      • ... Says:

Find concrete evidence that he gave out private information of thunderfoot to an islamic organization……. no some ambigious statement. Then I will believe this.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Once info on a ‘blasphemer’s info is spread to orgs, it then gets spread to the mullahs and imams that run them or are associated with them.

Don’t even think of pretending that death fatwas never get issued by these superstitious assholes and their orgs.

I suspect/hope that TF is being protected covertly by the FBI or others. He’s a big target with the DMD to his name. Assholes like DF spreading around his info to islamists have endangered his life. They have a huge track record of killing those who offend them with their pretend crime called ‘blasphemy’

In fact, the word dawah means to teach us nonmuslims about islam, and according to their own bloodsoaked koran, if we don’t convert after learning about it, we are kafir and must be killed too. Does DF speak out against that one ever? You don’t even need to blaspheme to get killed for that one.

I’ll bet that DF will chicken out of my challenge I gave him in another comment regarding whether or not he’d speak out against the religion’s atrocities. Let’s see. One of the questions specifically gives the situation of blasphemy such as TF is in. Would DF speak out against what the koran says, which is to kill TF?

      • ... Says:

So scented nectar…. all mullahs and imams want to kills people gotcha. If people in caves in afghanistan get word and issue this nonsense then ofcourse I don’t deny that they issue fatwas. But they uneducated anyways. Also even if there are imams and mullahs that issue fatwas to kill in US?? I have never met any as I have many muslim friends. (some of them are actually quite educated). I am not a believer in religion myself. You think that just because some ignorant will issue a fatwa that muslims will just pick up guns and kill? It’s not that simple. Human psyche has other influences. Come on we can think with better sense than that. Get out of the house and meet people will you? Stop watching fox news and every negative opinion that is ever casted. Truth of the matter is people say negative things about muslims all the time and that the US would be in civil war to your logic if muslims just killed everyone who spoke against it.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Now don’t you worry, dot dot dot. It’s only the ones who actually believe what the koran tells them AND who have the opportunity (mostly in theocracies where it’s legal and condoned), so don’t you worry your little dot dot dot face over it, k?

Furthermore, he’s never been in any discussions with actual terrorists or extremists (http://youtu.be/aOcWjFhH6L0) on YouTube. Druu Terronez says:
“Furthermore, he’s never been in any discussions with actual terrorists or extremists”

Again an assertion you can’t possibly prove, and given DF high profile as a Muslim on youtube I think it’s likely he’s had discussions with terrorists, or extremists, or at least people with ties to them. Even if he wasn’t aware of it.

Agreed, yet so many want to play nice with him, and it turns into a tone game. “But he’s polite, so he can’t be bad”. Yep, and if we hold hands and start singing “I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony”, world peace will happen and islamists will stop killing kafirs, raping children and enslaving women.

The flakey overboard left is as bad as the flakey overboard right, who dislike them for being brown and non-xtian rather than for being harmful. The answer is in the humanist middle where cultural harm is spoken against.

There is nothing wrong or racist about being against cultural/religious practices that harm.

      • Bruce Gorton Says:

What you have got to realise is this:

Dawah issued a death threat. People defended him.
Dawah got caught doc hunting. Less people defended him.
Dawah bragged about email bombing TF’s employers. Now the only people left defending him are frankly the people you don’t want defending you.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Yeah, really. I could be neck deep in a stoning pit, and these assholes would probably be all “well, you’ve got to tolerate their culture and accept their ways” or something. Meanwhile, I’d be dead.

That reality is happening to others every day. Are any muslims speaking out against it, proving themselves moderate? Not unless they want to die too. They know they must stay silent or suffer in punishment.

      • Mike Says:

““But he’s polite, so he can’t be bad”.

Hitler was polite. Stalin was polite. John Wayne Gacy was polite.
Politeness proves nothing, but a lot of people don’t get that.

“islamists will stop killing kafirs, raping children and enslaving women.”

That won’t happen until religion is eradicated. (Well, it’ll still happen, but not in the name of religion.)

“The flakey overboard left is as bad as the flakey overboard right”

Yep, and a depressingly large number of people don’t understand this.

“There is nothing wrong or racist about being against cultural/religious practices that harm.”

That’s right, spot-on. There is nothing wrong with opposing racists and those like them, no matter what motivates them or what flag they fly. Doing harm in the name of religion is no better than doing it in the name of politics.

I am also a bit disappointed by the quality of this post and the comments, because there is a lot of name calling in it.
I would expect a more civilized discussion from educated people, but then, it’s the internet.

    • Mike Paps Says:

“The free speech thing appears to be a ploy
TF seems to enjoy trying to silence his opposition with his angry mob”

So are you’re suggesting Thunderf00t should anticipate death threats, and doc dropping when saying things that Muslims find provocative, or that you suggesting that it’s an understandable response?

      • Mike Paps Says:

Posted the wrong quote above this should have been the quote:

“Your video is clearly provocating to muslims, and yet you whine when you get a reaction.”

      • Martien de Jong Says:

What I mean is that it is at least a reaction that can be expected, and also anticipated.
I think both sides have a responsibility.
When WBC burned Qurans I blamed them more for the results because they participated in a conscious action, they knew what they did.
I am not sure if the angry mobs that resulted from this can be held accountable in the same way, because they got a different education and are in a very different position.

If you find someone in the street and start insulting his mother and he snaps and beats you up, who’s fault is it? (to illustrate that this is not as one-sided as you may think)

It is easy for us to say Dawah should not be offended. And was it not the goal of the video to offend people?

I think we should find ways to get together, not divide. Maybe TF and DF have a lot more similarities than they expect. They both know their way around the internet, both are very vocal and both seem to be trying to make the world a better place by trying to stop harm and injustice.

Just my two cents, hope it makes a bit of sense :p

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Yeah, let’s join hands and sing kumbaya, and then everyone will get along.

Insulting someone’s mother and getting punched for it, is NOT the same as insulting someone’s belief that their mother should be killed due to being raped on her way to market last week and getting punched for it (or killed for going against what the koran orders).

To think that is a comparable offensive behaviour is insane.

      • Martien de Jong Says:

@Scented Nectar So you think you can judge about who is allowed to be offended and who cannot?
Being offended is something that appears to just happen to someone and violence may be a result. You reap what you sow.
I am angry too about injustice in the world, but we have nothing to gain from being hateful.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Either you’re strawmanning my position, or you actually don’t understand the difference between the two examples.

    • Mike Says:

“I can understand your rage and how you are offended by islam, but you must see that your video is offensive to muslims”

Too bad. No one has the right to not be offended. Not you, not me, and not Muslims.

      • martiendejong Says:

Why do you think no one has the right not to be offended. If I choose not to be offended is there anyone that is going to arrest me? I doubt it.

If you meant that no one has the right to be offended: If I choose to be offended, is there anyone that is going to arrest me?

      • Mike Says:

martiendejong says: “Why do you think no one has the right not to be offended. If I choose not to be offended is there anyone that is going to arrest me?”

I think you misunderstood. Lets say I do something that offends you. You don’t have the right to prevent me from doing whatever it is that offended you. That’s what I mean when I say, “no one has the right not to be offended”.

In other words, if someone does something that offends you, too bad. You do not have any right that says other people cannot do things that offend you.

Case in point: Dawhah and people like him somehow believe that they should have the right to prevent me from doing something that offends him, i.e. drawing a picture of Mohammed, burning the Koran, etc etc.

They feel they have the right to NOT be offended, when in fact there is no such right.

  28. Bobbie001 Says:

If you live in a society where there is something as freedom of speech. You form a shield of some sort to different opinions from other people. You might disagree, you might feel offended. But people have a right to criticize ideas, beliefs, religions, political views etc. Islam however, does not in anyway endorse freedom of speech. That’s probably the reason why there are muslims who can’t take any form of criticism on their religion or their profeit. And that is why this argument will probably never stop. Islam and freedom of speech dont combine very nicely.

Nothing will happen to DawahFilms, either. After spirits calm down, Tf00t and Ali will go back to their usual business.

Everybody will forget about this little fight, until the day Tf00t “gets stabbed while cycling to work”.

    • Scented Nectar Says:

If that happens, there will be a lot of backpedalling. All of a sudden people will be saying it’s unconnected to TF’s fights with DF, or that they knew all along that DF was up to no good but didn’t say anything for some made-up reason, or that they really meant the opposite when they earlier said such and such, etc. 😦

It’s all fun and games until someone pokes out an eye or an internal organ.

And let’s not forget the inevitable victim blamers. The ones who will partly excuse the murder with “you shouldn’t have offended him, he was provoked you know”.

      • Tusken the fugly Says:

I’d ask Dawah… in fact I’ll ask him right here.

Hey Kevin! Can you please post a video specifically urging people NOT to commit acts of violence (possibly in your name) against Tf00t and people like him? Thanks.

Disclaimer: I didn’t check if he already did so. But I’m betting he didn’t.

Has TF posted a video specifically urging people NOT to commit acts of violence (possibly in his name) against DF and people like him? I’m betting he hasn’t.

      • Tusken the fugly Says:

Thanks for completing my idea, Solway.
They should both ask their violence-prone fanatic supporters to be gentle and forgiving.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Only one of those two is promoting a book that orders that violence be done. Therefore, it is only that one (DF) who I am asking to say it’s wrong. Not in a weaselly way, but to speak out against the actual passages that order these things in the koran.

What I want to hear should start with “the koran is wrong where it says we must do this or that”, not something weaselly like “this particular person didn’t reeeaaally do that crime enough to punish her/him”. I want to hear him say the koran is actually wrong and should never be followed regarding all my points.

He doesn’t do that. If he did, he’d not be allowed back into a mosque except to face his own punishment, or at minimum being called an infidel and booted out (or koranic ordered murder for that only IF they can get away with it where he lives, which by his voice says North America – a non-sharia part of the world).

Even saying that he himself could never bring himself to kill a gay person or doesn’t mind them, etc, isn’t enough. He condones others who DO practice the laws in the koran, so he must speak out against any and all following of those atrocious punishments/practices. Get it? No weaselling or special cases used as examples. I want the real deal, which we all know he won’t give, since it would be directly saying the koran is immorally wrong in those regards.

    4. Blow something up, kill a Jew or Christian and pop out 8 more sand niggers while only being barely able to feed yourself.

    5. Go to Mecca and worship a black stone cube, where pagan Arabs used to worship the moon god Hubal, son of Allah.

Really? Please share your method for predicting the future, I’m sure everyone here would all love to know about it! 🙂

Thorsen, I’ll bet you cold, hard cash that Thunderf00t does indeed get a “future position” in a “public scientific institution”. Science is more concerned with competence and results than with the babblings of religious whackos like Kevin, AKA “DawahFilms”.

“You simply went way too far and now you have to pay the price: Being blacklisted!”

Blacklisted by who? Do you think there is some secret Muslim scientific cabal who control all the colleges and commercial research institutions in this country?

“In my country you would already have been legally fucked up for your hate speech against any religious people out there.”

Hey, we can’t help it if your country is still stuck in the Dark Ages. I’ve yet to see Thunderf00t say anything that would qualify as “hate speech”. Maybe in your goofy-ass country the truth is considered hate speech, but not here.

“That dawah guy is not to blame for your failure, you dug that hole for yourself.”

There was no “failure” and no hole has been dug, except on the part of religious nutjobs like Kevin AKA “DawahFilms”.

“stop sending your 4chan kids to destroy the life of other people.”

Oooh, that’s right, I forgot that Thunderf00t is secretly the Supreme Commander of 4chan. Is Thunderf00t also the head of the Illuminati? Next you’ll be telling us that Thunderf00t is responsible for chem trails and in his spare time runs the CIA’s Mind Control program.

ThunderF00t demands that Moderate Muslims speak out against Islamic extremists and I echo that call, however I also would like to call on the Thunderf00t to denouce the white supremacist moron’s who comment and his video’s

    • Scented Nectar Says:

I’m missing something here. Has TF been promoting a book that orders his followers to do violence under certain conditions? No. He has no obligation to tell his followers what to do. He might if he feels like it, but doesn’t need to.

Does DF promote such a book? Yes, so unless he agrees with what that book says, then he IS obligated to say “but don’t do these violent parts, just ignore them and do the peaceful stuff only”.

      • Anonymous Says:

Yes you have missed something, blatant racism is not acceptable in civilised society. The selfsame civilised society thunderf00t seeks to champion and defend.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

What racism? From what I can see, TF speaks out against barbarically inhumane cultural/religious practices. There is nothing wrong with speaking out against those. It has nothing to do with race. TF is not one of those people who hates them for being a darker shade of brown than the tan shade ‘white’ people are. You must be mixing him up with some of his right wing followers who like him for all the wrong reasons.

      • Anonymous Says:

I’m talking about his racist followers, not saying Thunderf00t is himself racist. I thought that was made clear in m y first post. To illustrate my point the term “Sand nigger” has been used in these very comments.

I would like to see himself distance himself from these morons. And illustrate the distinction between criticising Islam for valid reasons and blatant xenophobic racism.

      • Mike Says:

What racism?? Seriously, show me the racist comments that TF has made. He’s spoken out against racism and the mindless, insane hatred of religion. He’s never said a word about race or color that I recall. Show me the racist comments he’s made, or admit you’re lying.

      • Anonymous Says:

“I’m talking about his racist followers, not saying Thunderf00t is himself racist”

Please read what I actually wrote before you respond and accuse me of lying.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

He’s not under any obligation to, even if some people think it would be good. It’s a side issue, since TF’s fighting something a lot bigger than the odd people here or there who say bad words or have racist thoughts in their heads. He’s fighting the actual sticks and stones, the harms of the religion itself. Also, he’s not promoting any racist groups himself, as Pat Condell is said to do with the EDL and BNP.

The biggest obligation I see in this whole thing, is on Dawahfilms. He’s the one who IS promoting mistreatment of groups of people such as all women, all non-muslims (who his koran says can be taken as slaves if not killed), etc. Even (maybe especially) his own group, muslims, get horribly mistreated by followers of that book of hatred, the koran, that DF thumps.

Many ex-muslims, such as Hirsii Ali and Maryam Namazie DO speak out against the racist right, but take note: they also speak out against the flakey do-nothing left who tolerate all sorts of islamic atrocities for fear of being called racist or islamaphobes. Like the ones posting here on DF’s side with comments about petty shit, like who presents a nicer tone, or who did what first, rather then the meat of the matter, which is the attempt by DF to convert and spread his theocratically institutionalized hate, something that’s a lot worse than the n-word dropped here or there by a random nutter.

        • Mike Paps Says:

Excellent points Scented Nectar. I wanted to emphasize something else that you allude to in your post. DF very youtube name Dawah is the Christian equivalent to evangelist combined with apologist.

His goal is not only to convert people, but essentially make excuses for, rationalize, and justify the teachings in the QU’ran, in other words DF amounts to a con man, since as most atheists know such a thing is impossible to do if you are an intellectually honest.

While DF apologists (including some atheists) bend over backwards to give him the benefit of the doubt, and blindly accept every claim he makes, any truly rational person would take those facts into account when judging his self serving claims.

None of this means we should unquestionably accept what Thunderf00t says, but let’s review just some of what we know. DF lies about attempting to get TF’s docs until he’s exposed on video doing just. He states that he’s going to hack TF’s beatyintheuniverse channel, and then later claims it was a joke.
He issues a death threat that to this very day he claims despite demonstrable evidence to the contrary is exactly that. Nothing (to the best of my knowledge) that TF has said about DF has every been shown to be a lie, or even untrue.

Given all of this I can’t see any reason people would accept DF’s version of events based on his words alone, and can only conclude that those few in the atheists community who continue to are either blinded by their hatred for TF because they believe he is an Islamaphobe, or they are afraid of being branded a bigot, Islamaphobe, or TF fan-boy by their youtube click if they express their honest opinion.

      • Anonymous Says:

Racism and white supremacy is not a side issue, it’s not even a separate issue. It comes out of the exact same irrational, tribal, backward, paranoid, hateful human mindset that spawned the vile, repugnant, beliefs mandated by Islam.

Thunderf00t has set him self up to attack this part of the human psyche, his whole channel dedicated to countering irrationality and celebrating the society evidence based open honest thinking has brought us. White supremacists seek to destroy this just as much as Islamists do, after all they are they just two different manifestations of primitive thought.

Furthermore when legitimate criticism is associated with blatant racism and bigotry it becomes very easy to dismiss it as racism and bigotry.

      • Scented Nectar Says:

Mike, I think it’s because they are scared to be thought of as islamophobes, but also what you brought up about being thought of as a TF fanboy. YouTube is split over whose personalities they like better or find more entertaining, etc, and some get jeered if they don’t choose the side that their friends are on. “What so I can reveal my identity?”
That’s right Kevin needs to protect his identity so he CAN’T prove the FBI ever contacted him. it’s in the comments & if he’s deleted it I have it in my inbox. Why the hell isn’t ANYONE asking for what started this shit, proof the FBI “ruined little Kevin’s life”

Why isn’t thunderf00t in prison yet for hate speech?

    • mrEflavr Says:

Because (1) he’s never said anything that would amount to hate speech, and (2) hate speech, while frowned upon and deemed unacceptable by societal standards and is not protected by free speech laws, is not illegal nor imprisonment-worthy. If you feel he should be jailed for anything he’s said, you would be (a) a fascist and (b) condemning DawanFilms as well, because the things his religion preaches are far worse than anything thunderf00t has said.

      • KevinSolway Says:

“condemning DawanFilms as well, because the things his religion preaches are far worse than anything thunderf00t has said”

You can’t hold DF responsible for things said and done by other people who may claim to be part of the same religion as him. Your logic is lacking.

      • mrEflavr Says:

I never said he was to be accountable for the actions of others or what they say. However, when the things he says supports what other radicals of his religion say and do, he is condoning that behavior and mindset, which should not be the case. I am not holding him responsible for others’ actions, but for his own. In any case, all this is hypothetical anyway, as my comment above would only apply IF the things he said would, in a Hypothetical world, cause him to be imprisoned. Wait, Death Threats… Those DO carry jail sentences if I’m not mistaken.

      • mrEflavr Says:

The logic is only lacking if you Fail to read the comment for what it is, and if you attempt to misrepresent what was said. See, many people are taught to Read For Comprehension. That is, to Read a comment and take in what is said so as to understand the authors intent. At no point was anything along the lines of ‘Ali Ali said this, but I’ll pass the blame to DF.’ He is only accountable to the things He says, that is to say what his religion tells him to preach.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        mrEflavr wrote:

“He is only accountable to the things He says, that is to say what his religion tells him to preach.”

The latter is an unnecessary assumption. DF is *only * accountable for what he says and does, and this may have nothing to do with what you believe his religion is supposed to be about.

      • mrEflavr Says:

So you agree, he should be acountable for the things he says and does, just like anyone else. Well, death threats Are punishable offenses, with penalties differing between states. Aside from his threats made directly to TF, Islam as a whole threatens all non-believers with death. Islam also permits wedding underage girls to much older men; girls as young as 11 (it was 9 in the past) being forced into marriages and raped. What 11 (or 9) year old girl is going to consent to sex with ANY man, of ANY age? Any religion which can condone these actions is not only Morally Corrupt, but twisted, sick and mentally disturbed.

      • mrEflavr Says:

On that same note, any individual who can condone these actions is twisted, sick, and mentally disturbed as well. That would include those who preach and evangelize for said religion, which would include DF.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        mrEflavr wrote:

        “death threats Are punishable offenses”

Many people think that TF’s threats are at least identical to those of DF, if not worse – given that he refers to Muslims as “ants” who are granted their existence by the “gods” of the West, along with the threat of the “giant”, which, historically, awoke to drop nuclear bombs on cities full of civilians, which included women and children.

        > That would include those who preach and
        > evangelize for said religion, which would include
        > DF.

You can’t logically say that DF condones anything unless you know that he personally condones something. I know for a fact that DF disagrees with the majority of Muslims on a great many issues.

      • mrEflavr Says:

You cannot say he Does Not condone these actions, because he has never spoken out against them. However, his religion says that these things are fine, even laudable, and as he has taken a name which translates to “Lion of God” we can infer that he is a bit of a zealot. Zealots, by nature, follow their beliefs to a ‘T’, even if hose beliefs are repugnant, vile, and crass.
If he agrees with the points already made by Scented Nectar and that many of the things the followers of Islam do have no place in a modern world, then it would behoove him to speak out and say so. he reads this forum, We’ve seen his responses to many people’s comments; Why not come out and say something along the lines of, “These are things that Islam currently supports, Not I, which need to be changed, because they are brutish, barbaric, and have no place in modern society.”
If he did, he could paint a positive view of Islam, maybe even cause religion-wide reforms. Hey, Jesus did it for Christianity; Maybe the ‘Lion of God’ could put his roar to good use…

Next he tries to argue that TF mentioning in passing once that he may not be making videos for awhile because he’s going to Europe for to do research, is an attempt to imply he’s affiliated with a university, with the motive of giving his opinions an air of authority. Wow, talk about grasping at straws.

Next he’s going to accuse TF of being a corporate shill in the employ of Barcardi because he once used a bottle of 151 in an experiment video he uploaded. lol

And when a person who is concealing their identity is discovered to be behaving in some immoral manner, and using their false identity as a cover, is it “doc dropping” to reveal that person’s identity to the appropriate people? No, it’s not.

If that doesn’t fit the definition of a pedophile then I’m not sure what would. If you worship the person that did this, then you ARE in fact “worshiping a pedophile”.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

The kind of world that TF and his supporters want to create, is, in my opinion, just as bad as the kind of world the fundamentalists want to create.

In a world full of TF supporters everyone will be constantly demonizing each other, insulting each other, constantly diagnosing others with mental illnesses in order to permanently dismiss them, etc. It’s not the kind of world I want to work towards.

      • Mike Says:

KevinSolway Says: “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”

What’s your point? I fail to see what TF did that was “wrong” by any standard. Is speaking out against religious insanity wrong? Is trying to bring a little reason and logic into the world wrong?

“The kind of world that TF and his supporters want to create, is, in my opinion, just as bad as the kind of world the fundamentalists want to create.”

Why? Because his kind of world wouldn’t be polite and deferential to nutters who believe in an invisible telepathic super-being? Because that kind of world wouldn’t tolerate killing people for “insulting” someone’s holy prophet? Because that kind of world would condemn violence done in the name of some magical being, or in the name of a pedophile prophet?

“In a world full of TF supporters everyone will be constantly demonizing each other, insulting each other, constantly diagnosing others with mental illnesses in order to permanently dismiss them, etc. It’s not the kind of world I want to work towards.”

You know what? That’s just pure bullshit. I don’t even know where to begin to respond to such a nonsensical characterization, Kevin.

A world full of “TF supporters” would likely be a more pleasant world where people are free to be who and what they want, and not constrained by some crap-ass book of myths written by people who thought the earth was flat. By people who didn’t even know what a germ was. By people who thought (and STILL think) that it’s appropriate to stone people to death, rape children, or murder whole cities because their fucking sky-god told them to.

I would take that kind of world over your sick religious bullshit world any day. In your world, buttwipes like Dahwah are free to threaten and kill people because they feel offended, and jackasses like you rush to their defense.

      • KevinSolway Says:

Atheists are not seeking for a world of “sick religious bullshit”. But different atheists have different methods of seeking to rid the world of the sick thinking that is found in religion.

It’s not a matter of EITHER diagnose anyone who disagrees (theists or atheists) with mental illnesses and brand Muslims as terrorists OR accept a world of religious bullshit. The world isn’t that simple.

      • Mike Says:

KevinSolway Says: “Atheists are not seeking for a world of “sick religious bullshit”.

I have no idea what that means.

“It’s not a matter of EITHER diagnose anyone who disagrees (theists or atheists) with mental illnesses and brand Muslims as terrorists OR accept a world of religious bullshit.”

It’s a matter of continuing to either condone and play along with the magical thinking that religion (EVERY religion) has as a baseline, or saying, “No, I refuse to accept any of this toxic religious nonsense anymore.”

I don’t care if you’re Muslim, Christian, Baptist, whatever. The world will be a better place without the magical thinking religion demands.

        It’s bullshit, plain and simple.

        “magical thinking”

It’s “magical thinking” to think that all Muslims terrorists, and it’s magical thinking for TF and his followers to think that they are qualified to diagnose other people with mental illnesses, and that doing so will make the world a better place. It’s also magical thinking for TF and his followers to imagine that they can best interpret the Koran and therefore know what “true Islam” is.

It is precisely because I am against magical thinking and the kind of rank illogic that one sees in the messages of TF supporters on this page that I am against the TF movement.

No, I am most certainly NOT implying that. Why would I, as an atheist, want a “world of religious bullshit”??
A world of religious bullshit is exactly what I do NOT want. Seriously, Kevin, you’re not making any sense.

“It’s “magical thinking” to think that all Muslims terrorists”

I never said any such thing, nor have I ever said anything remotely like that. You appear to be putting words in my mouth, and I’d appreciate if you’d stop pulling shit out of your ass and attributing it to me.

“It’s also magical thinking for TF and his followers to imagine that they can best interpret the Koran and therefore know what “true Islam” is.”

        1) I am not one of Thunderf00t’s “followers”.

        2) I never claimed I could interpret the Koran. Where you’re getting this nonsense from I’ve no idea.

I *do*, however, know some of what it says in the Koran, and that parts I do know about I can’t say I like. For example, a sentence of death for apostasy.

“I am against the TF movement.”

I didn’t know there was a “TF movement”. I agree with a lot of what TF says and I respect his skills and intellect, but I’m not a “follower” of his.

. . . I *do*, however, know some of what it says in the Koran”

Don’t you see a contradiction between these two statements?

Nothing can be read from the Koran without interpreting it.

In fact the idea of the death penalty for apostasy doesn’t come from the Koran, but from the Hadith.

And even in the case of the Hadith, intelligent Muslims (few though they be) do not interpret it in the way you think all Muslims should interpret it.

Some Muslim scholars believe that apostasy applies only to political and military betrayal, and has nothing to do with religious belief. (e.g., Sufyan al-Thawri and Hasan at-Turabi), Others say that any kind of death penalty happens only in the afterlife, when judged by God.

I grant you that the vast majority of Muslims are dangerous idiots, but they are in the same league as Christians, which make up the bulk of the U.S, as well as our own ancestors.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        To Mike,

I’ve just asked DF what his opinion is regarding apostasy.

In his opinion the penalty of death only applies to those Muslims who physically go to war against Muslims, and who try to physically destroy Muslims.

I would remark here that it’s worth remembering that much of the Islamic scriptures were written during times of war, and so the context of the teachings is actual, physical war. In the context of actual war, when an insider turns against you, and physically fights against you from within, that can do an exceptional amount of damage.

I honestly don’t give a damn what a demented stalker and death-threat maker’s personal interpretation of his holy book of fairy tales is. Nothing could interest me less.

“In his opinion the penalty of death only applies to those Muslims who physically go to war against Muslims, and who try to physically destroy Muslims.”

Again, I don’t care what his opinion is. I don’t care if he’s studied the koran for a hundred years. It’s like pondering whether The Flash can run faster than Superman. Who cares?

Blah blah blah….How about you stop making elaborate excuses for all this ridiculous horseshit and start acting like an adult, Kevin?

        Clearly.

        Then you are an idiot.

You stated previously. “I do know some of what it says in the Koran.”

So you think YOUR interpretation of the Koran/Bible is correct, and everyone else is wrong.

You are just another brain-dead fundamentalist moron.

No, I never said that either. Are you in the habit up making shit up and claiming that someone said it, or is this just a lark for you?

“You are just another brain-dead fundamentalist moron.”

And you are just another person who’s run out of cogent arguments. 🙂

As for being a “fundamentalist”, I don’t have any religious leanings fundamentalist or otherwise. I stopped believing in that garbage about 2 minutes after I first heard the whole “god” story. One minute of that time was spent laughing, the other was spent trying to figure out how adults could actually believe in such utter nonsense.

      • KevinSolway Says:

        To Mike,

You claimed to know what some of the Koran was about.

You sounded like you were claiming that *absolutely*. That’s why I called you an idiot. My apologies if I was wrong.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with having respect for particular books. In my opinion “The Origin of Species” is a great book, as is “Thus Spake Zarathustra”. The problem is when people decide that their interpretation of words are true, on faith.

DF is only in the wrong to the extent that he personally makes that mistake.

You too? Me too. It’s rare to find others who had that exact situation. I was about 4 yrs old and was told that god created everything. I asked “If god made everything, then who made god?” They couldn’t give me a good answer, so I told them they were lying and to stop trying to fool me. It didn’t even make as much sense as a Dr. Seuss story. I couldn’t believe that they actually believed it themselves. It was too stupid. 🙂

““he or she is accused of being a muslim, a pedophile worshipper”

Well, with all due respect, it’s pretty well documented in the Koran that Mohammed DID marry a 9 year old girl and DID consummate the marriage with her.

If that doesn’t fit the definition of a pedophile then I’m not sure what would. If you worship the person that did this, then you ARE in fact “worshiping a pedophile”.

Maybe you’d be kind enough to explain where my logic breaks down.”

Your logic breaks down at the point of reading apparently. I wrote that just for disagreeing you get called a pedo worshipper, not for believing the Koran, maybe you assume that anybody who disagrees with you believes the Koran? I am just joking.

The many times I have been called a Muslim, a pedo worshipper, a troll, a poe simply for disagreeing with TF’s sentiment on 1 particular subject is nearly inconceivable. TF made me an atheist and a sceptic but now I see these values that TF brought here on youtube being eroded to the point of nearly non existence. Most of the people in the youtube “atheist community” talk the talk but they don’t walk the walk. When confronted with something they truly disagree with or don’t understand they still go back in the same primitive in-vs-out-group mentality and let all critical thinking fly out the window. They love to bash theists on their fallacies but they are not shy to use them themselves and anybody who tries to explain it to them is either a poe, a muslim, a creationist or a theist appeaser.

I don’t know, its just that for a moment we seemed to be gaining some momentum, now I am beginning to wonder if a free thinking society can truly exist on a large scale cause it doesn’t matter if people are religious, batshit insane or atheist, many of them are still prone to the same backwards primitive mindsets when confronted with something they don’t like.

I seriously remembered a time where in the comment sections people would notify user that they were using too much curse words or that he was using fallacies. Almost like a peer review system where most people valued critical thinking, not using fallacies, disproving theists with facts, where we used all these things cause we would know that we would ALWAYS have the high ground if we didn’t resort to name calling and fallacies.

Nowadays it doesn’t matter really, if you are against religion anything goes and if you are not against religion you must be for it.

    • Mike Says:

“we would ALWAYS have the high ground if we didn’t resort to name calling and fallacies.”

But if it’s NOT a fallacy, should we tippy-toe around it?

If someone was a known-pedophile, what should call them? A “hands-on admirer of pre-pubescent beauty”?

How about an example of the criticism, and a link to the video so we can judge for ourselves whether you sounded like a Muslim, a pedo worshiper, a troll, or a poe. I mean you seem to be implying that your criticism was reasonable, and that such a reaction was unwarranted. Of course such a conclusion is a subjective one, but I think we could almost hold as axiomatic the conclusion that the number of idiots, and the number of fan-boys a video will attract increases based on views, and subscribers. I’ve had the similar experience when criticizing Coughlan, or Bionic dance. Particularly if I dared say anything in defense of Thunderf00t. Bigot, Islamaphobe, or fan-boy being their insults of choice.

Poor Dahwaaaaah! You’d think that if his magic sky-god was really all that powerful that he’d protect one of his most faithful worshipers against all of us horrible heathens. But apparently Mohammed is too weak to bother with the small stuff. Maybe he’s busy molesting his child bride, or he’s just too busy with the bacon-tasting contest to attend to poor little Dawaaaaah’s needs.
